Darkness and light, in their alternation, trace the boundary between a known dimension and an unknown one, highlighting and underscoring the symbolism of the photographs.
The artist turns her gaze toward the metaphor of myths, creating a new visual and symbolic vocabulary that updates myth to speak of our contemporary society, where identity is constantly constructed and negotiated through the visual and self-gratification.
Identity, death, time, beauty—they still need to be told and rethought through symbols that remain a universal and direct language to touch deep fibers of human experience.
It is an act of visual poetic justice that, inspired by the verses of William Blake, affirms: “All gods reside in the hearts of men.”
She has chosen Menorca as the place of her heart and presents her works nationally and internationally, holding solo exhibitions in Italy, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, and the United Kingdom.
In Taipei, Taiwan, she has been defined as ‘The storyteller behind black & white.’
In Menorca, she has presented her photographs at Ca n’Oliver, Can Victori, the church of Sant Antoni, the former Hospital of the Isla del Rey, the Claustre del Carme, the Convent de Sant Diego, and the Roser Exhibition Hall.
